Self-hosted maps as one product

With a cloud map service, map views and route calculations are requests to an outside provider. They are usually metered, and they carry your users' locations out of your network. Running maps yourself often means assembling several separate servers and keeping them in step. The platform delivers maps, routing, search and administration as one product.

Emergency routing included

Eight routing profiles for emergency vehicles are part of the standard installation, next to a taxi profile and seven further profiles.

Maps, routing, search, places and the admin portal are set up together by one installer.

Maps, light and dark

Your region as a map, with a light and a dark map style.

Address and place search

Geocoding, reverse geocoding, points of interest and autocomplete. Offline search packages are available for the .NET MAUI SDK.

Custom Places

Add your own locations with the built-in map editor. They appear in search results alongside the addresses and places on the map.

Data overlays

Import GeoJSON, KML, GPX and Shapefile layers. Every imported layer file is scanned for malware before it is accepted.

Admin portal

Users with roles, API keys with their own request limits, map profiles that configure client apps, and your own branding.

Versioned map updates

Updated map data is prepared as a separate version and can be scheduled. The previous version can be restored.

Offline on mobile

Download map regions to iOS and Android devices. Interrupted downloads resume, and every download is checked for integrity.

SDKs and REST API, secured with API keys

  1. Choose your region and server

    A single city or a whole country: you get the platform for exactly the area you need, on a supported Linux server that you operate.

  2. Install with one installer

    An automated installer sets up the platform and checks the origin of the package. It also runs in isolated networks without internet access.

  3. Connect your apps

    Create an API key in the admin portal and add the SDK for your platform. Your app then loads its map configuration from your server.

API keys with limits

Each key has its own permissions and request limit. Allowed origins are enforced.

Roles in the portal

Role-based access for the people who manage the platform, from administrator to viewer.

Scanned imports

Imported layer files are checked for malware. If the check cannot run, the file is rejected.

Protected web interface

Content Security Policy and CSRF protection in the portal, with rate limiting for requests.

Verified packages

The installer checks where a package comes from before it installs it.

Answered by your own server

Map and routing requests are answered by your own server, as are requests for your places.
